Contains notebooks, writings, correspondence and other papers that Brautigan left with his friend Dwain Richard Cox. Also includes photographs of Brautigan, his family, and of a trip he took; some writings of Tanikawa Shuntarō. Richard Gary Brautigan was an American writer (novelist, poet). Born Tacoma, Washington, January 30 1935. Died Bolinas, California, around September 14, 1984 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound (the exact date of his death is unknown; his body was discovered October 25, 1984).
